Living and working overseas can present unique challenges when it comes to securing financing, but there are definitely loan options designed for situations like yours.

First, we started the firm in 2020 and have definitely ran into our rough patches as a fast growing company (we were recognized by Inc. 5,000 in 2024 as #105).

Sometimes they’ll let you add meters and mailboxes without rezoning, but that depends on local rules, so definitely ask.For the septic, upgrading is probably a must.

I think you definitely need a smart tech stack and to use automation as you said, you just overlay the personal touch and automate the minutia.

I have thought about Ohio as well but may stay local and we definitely need to put time into our STR's to get them better.

Perhaps slightly higher from an alternative lender but definitely not from a credit union and expect much higher fees.

Its not near any major cities where someone might look at it as a long play for path of progress.Another option might be to see if a solar farm or wind farm company might be interested once its clear cut.
