No security now but I could add some cameras VERY easily as that is one of the things I do.I do not know the lengths of the leases currently, but I do know one guy has been in there since the 80's and another lady is looking to do some fixing up for her dance studio and was concerned if I would want her out (of course I don't).I am not looking for a "steal" of a deal... just wondering on if this is practical or if this is ridiculously priced.

Motion sensor alarms on the inside are cheap.I have installed self-contained hidden cameras both inside and outside to trap vandals (though once the neighbors learned this from my idiot workmen vandalism dropped to zero).I padlock access doors to under the house.And I am considering cages around HVAC units should the unit go vacant.The best deterrents are good occupants and good neighbors with your phone number.

I have some excellent RE apps on my iPhone, but I can take pictures and attach them to notes made in the app.So a camera and a BP app would make the iPad much better in my book.

If you will be doing the inspections then I would bring my ladder, infra red thermometer, socket tester, tape measure, and camera when viewing the unit and on the one you want, test the appliances and perform an inspection right then.
