The issue isn't understanding the terms of the contract, the issue is knowing how to act when either Party violates those terms.For example, if the Seller breaches the contract before the closing or at the closing table, will the title company step in and accuse the Seller of breach and give you, the Buyer, legal advice regarding your options?

Well...I am going to guess you are brand new to this business so I am going to go ahead and give you a pass on just how ignorant your accusation is and walk you through a few points so that in the future you do not offend any other brokers or sellers who may not be willing to give you a pass.1.

I never wanted to post back on that thread but we got accused of selling a property for more than its worth.

Because, to be honest with you, I don't see value in working with individuals who are so quick to accuse and not take time to look into things.

Some people do because they're worried about being accused of discrimination. 

Don't make accusations until you know facts.

I've never been accused of being anti-government, but it of roils me to think of big brother using such a heavy hand to regulate what individuals do with their own property.

I am sure there are laws about removing or storing property State specific DO NOT box their things up , You open yourself up to theft accusations .They die , you take pics , and secure the house , take what ever precautions necessary to protect your assett .

That the contractor didn't provide you with pictures seems like a stretch of an accusation when you don't have any trusted overseer on location or apparently didn't budget for the plane ride to your work site.
