The area surrounding the Mall and restaurants etc. has seen growth.

There are also major plans to build restaurants/bars/shops under condos and various parks/outdoor spaces in the Potomac Yard area. 

Does she work in an industry that is fully open (not a restaurant not a hotel) My guess is you will never recover $13000 and damages from her unless she has a full time job.
