I had lunch in Dallas last week with two bankers friends who is at the top of the food chain, and they don't even know how the Dodd-Frank act will work, and they have a team of lawyers the best money can buy.

The lists seem to generally focus on long term population and job growth.I wonder though, if the list is self serving for HomeVestors, as they are based in Dallas, and likely do a lot more deals in the sun belt vs. the rust belt.

And I have notice here in Dallas's lot of off market proprieties are not being sold to wholesalers because the home owners are getting wise that the wholesaler doesn't want to give them a dime but want to tie their property up and wholesale the contract and leave them high and dry.
