You could buy a wyze camera from Amazon for $26 bucks, stick it to the exterior wall assuming you have electricity and wifi, and then you get a 13 second clip anytime there's motion at the doorway.

water, sewer, dump station, wash station, tire covers, monthly check up service (tires, doors, plug in, propane tank fill, inside motion sensor alarm, etc).  

So long as the activated motion notification is on, your phone dings every time the camera senses movement.
