My main goal is to partner with someone who has undergone the BRRRR strategy on my first deal. 

This area has undergone tremendous post-recession change and continues to the present day.

The building is in the preliminary stages of getting assessed, both buildings surrounding it have just have undergone renovations.

Of these 29 properties, about half have undergone full (i.e., >$30,000) renovations in the last 3 years.  

While they have undergone various remodeling, I'm curious to hear from seasoned investors- what are your experiences with older properties like this? 

I found a 3 bed, 1.5 bath property on a B- street that was a former rental ($1300 p/m) and has just undergone about a 90% re-hab.  

One of the things I do (since I am an agent as well) is check out the public records and past sales for a street or neighborhood so I can see what (if any) properties have undergone a condo conversation and what the market will bear.

The neighborhoods in Cleveland that have recently undergone successful revitalization (Ohio City, Tremont, Detroit Shoreway) have typically been anchored by restaurants, bars and breweries, the arts, nightlife, etc.

To add, service-providers, such as TransUnion and CredCo, that enable an individual or company to be able to pull background reports and credit reports require site inspections and in-person visits, which we have undergone at our offices here in New York.

I have undergone through lot of that and is totally worth it as it helped me make right decision
