If you're living there, every extra minute can seem like torture.

As an owner of a property management company I can tell you that unless you have the temperament for it, it is a long, slow and torturous grind.

I doubt that the Realtor would sue you for Torturous Interference, but who knows.Anyway, there may be other liens on the property, which is why a title policy is important.

lol...good point @Todd DexheimerHave you heard the phrase "your data will tell you anything you want if you torture it long enough"...95% of our local "MF market" is made up of transactions less than 5-units...the price appreciation grew exponentially in the lower asset classes...so, we are seeing 4-unit properties that traded 3-years ago at $75k trade at $250k today...cosmetic renovations or no renovations. 

Tortured.

If she continues through ninety days, this is ample opportunity for her to nitpick continuously, torturing us for week after week. 

But in many ways, even though these last three weeks have been torture, we've been relatively lucky: the investigation is proceeding at a good clip and substantial funds have been claimed.
