My request for the root cause of the failure has yet to be answered.My frustration comes from the lack of transparency into how the deal was structured with GPs/Operators.

I find these people to be ignorant as in the root word "ignore" as they ignore historical examples. 

Now you will have some roots planted for less than $50. 

For example, Florida has the Marketable Records Title Act (F.S. 712) which provides that an unchallenged deed of record for 30 years becomes a new root title extinguishing prior interests.

I hope that won't be the case as it would be an ecological and economical nightmare for the region but it's hard to see how that can be avoided, given that the root causes of the problem seem to be getting worse, not better.
