At one condo development where I owned property, they did not exceed the rental limitation, but none the less were not certified for FHA financing. 

I was the Listing agent and sold the property in 3 days.

I'm not set on doing it with a USDA loan, but I was eyeing rural properties and thought it may make sense to look at the USDA loan route.

Then you can read a more in-depth book like The Book On Rental Property Investing by Brandon Turner or The Unofficial Guide to Real Estate Investing by Spencer Strauss.2.

Ron Desantis wants to eliminate property taxes in Florida most likely via a constitutional amendment for voters which would require 60% to pass. 

I don't see you getting a huge amount of cash out of this property with a new loan, anyway.
