I do like the idea of buying a home where everything is still under warranty, although the idea of buying something that doesn't exist yet gives me some pause.

Capital calls, paused distributions….

The conversation began after we commented  on a teacher's  BP forum post  about paused distributions that he was reliant on for medical treatment.

Eventually, I chose to pause it and list on zillow directly.

Meanwhile, debt service, taxes, insurance, maintenance, and other expenses continue without pause.

There are two things that give me pause in trying to recreate our original success.1- Location, location, location... and how that translates into occupancy. 

She pauses, looks at me with her big brown eyes and says meekly, "Well, can I at least get some of my things out of my car before it's towed away?"

And many investors have paused their buying so I’m seeing less competition and able to make low ball offers to secure these homes.

Tried to get back into the REI game to buy a rental in early 2022, but I was only looking in "A" markets (had a single realtor giving me all the advice), and competition was way too hot, so I hit the pause.
