If this job popped up out of the blue, your intent was not to move within the 1st year, so you may be ok.If you are planning on building a portfolio of homes, it is safest to stick in your home for 12 months to reduce the appearance of potential fraud. 

Following this exchange, and after a few more callouts from Melanie, you appear to have downgraded your account on BiggerPockets, and gone inactive coming back only recently to respond to Melanie's post here. 

If you had prescreening info that makes it appear that there is no way they meet criteria do you still say the same thing? 

I thought it may be Form 8832, but it doesn't appear to be the right one based on the questions it asks.

I assume you mean the ONE by you is a “natural” wildfire?

I recommend homing in on what MOST vacationers are looking for in a specific market and try to find properties that have natural features/amenities that are scarce.  

It may not appear this way on the surface but you are going to come out ahead by focusing on purchasing fewer but quality assets rather than becoming a door accumulator.
