I asked her what 'other issues' need to be addressed and she responded by accusing me of being 'verbally abusive' with my 'tone' (via text conversation) and that I was inappropriately 'badgering' her to tell me *now* what she wanted to discuss requiring a house meeting.

Would it be inappropriate to ask for proof of unemployment from their employer?

Is it possible or inappropriate to bring this up to my agent and ask to reach out to the seller and explain the situation and propose a lower offer that I'd feel more comfortable offering if I went through with the deal and ended up losing my job and had to float the mortgage with savings?

I also think it is inappropriate to discuss your finances with your tenants.

While @Bill Krenz perhaps inappropriately used the term flip, flipping is not actually what he is doing in an IRA.Flipping creates trade or business income.  

Many "assets"  in this time frame were purchased by very inexperienced operators using inappropriate comp rents to justify an enormous rent bump post renovation.

Since I myself will be renting from him, would it inappropriate to ask him for advice and/or seek out a mentorship from him? 

Had an out of state FSBO request a photo of my Driver's License before they would have a family member meet me at the property...this seems inappropriate to me...thoughts?
