Hi all Im a newbie in the real estate game, joined biggerpockets.com about a month ago and just got my first investment property located in Lynn Massachusets  (2 family home) I'm a full time chef,full time student and also trying to get my real state license.

Do you ever go to the Monday night meetings at Hibachi grill or Wednesday IHOP round table meeting in Tampa?

I've watched Hell's Kitchen, and all chefs smoke.

@Karen Margrave   We sold the house to a celebrity chef  or at least a very popular one in Charleston he has 3 restaurants... so we fell into it really...

It is a Magic Chef oven, probably at least 15 years old.  

I have a daughter in the medical field (prepping for PA school), 2 sons that are talented chefs, another daughter who would make an awesome caregiver and a few more suited to manage. 

Daughter graduated from J&W is also a chef. 

There are still areas around there that aren't the greatest...and that's why the area has cleaned up the way it has - chefs found opportunities to buy property cheap and start a business...and things took off.
