I got lucky with my framer as he lived down the street and was currently working a commercial job with a long commute and literally begged me to hire him.

Most of Mexicans and Central Americans who make it here, really make any effort to find work whether it is day labour, farm, or simply become intrapreneurs themselves being plumbers, framers, stucco workers, etc.

So any wall moves should be done by a true framer who understands structure, not just a carpenter who thinks he can frame a house.

Every time I paid any contractor whether it be electrician, roofer, framer, every time I paid someone they disappeared for a couple days and then came back and finished the work.

I’m looking for a crew of framers to do a quick framing job. 

Do I understand correctly that after I get a plan from structural engineer and I get it approved with city I will have to bring in a framer?

Not eveyone needs to go to college, and would be well suited as a framer, HVAC, electrician, plumber, etc.   

I can find an ortho surgeon, psychologist and 10 lawyers easier than I can find a good plumber, electrician, or framer.

I hired an electrician, AC guy, framer, drywall guy, and roofer to help get the job done where I needed help.
