For the best durability that exceeds even granite and affordable price, I would choose porcelain slab.

It looks like to replace old tile with porcelain might run me at $11 a sq ft versus lvp from flooret (assuming the floor is leveled) at around $9 sq ft.

I have since done a complete rehab with new kitchen and bathroom, high end carpet in the bed rooms, porcelain tile in all other house space, deck install and all new appliances.

Porcelain-Over-Steel would be my preference, but expect chips in the porcelain over time.

One of the toilets has the porcelain in the bowel that has worn off so while it is up replacing the floor that will most likely be replaced as well. 

______No stains should remain in the refrigerator or on porcelain in the bath.
