Bad news for condo sellers.Condo boards are often dysfunctional - The condo board ultimately decides what repairs get made, what dues are charged, and what rules are imposed/enforced.

That's my 8 year plan; it allows me Financial Freedom and will allow me to leave the abject dysfunction that is Korporate AmeriKa...

I had to buy it down to 1.25% for the buyer.. the insurance monthly was more than the mortgage payment LOL.. granted great deal.. but I did this in 09 and they were dysfunctional then.. and they are dysfunctional now.. and they did shame the banks into this just look at how they picketed the sub prime lenders mansions etc... call it what you want thats what they did..

@Matthew Jonovich  please do maybe this is where Morris saves his reputation.. because up to now he has been fronting for some pretty dysfunctional ground partners.. based on evidence posted on BP..

Many Boards are like dysfunctional families...to the detriment of the rest of the Membership.

One huge advantage of the US is stable politics (yes even with dysfunction in Washington its still better than most of the world), a working set of laws and legal system, and a well established tradition of property ownership.

Just as great deals can be found at market troughs, they can also be found at market peaks.That being said, cyclical trends aside, by just looking at the MLS ( and mind you the MLS is probably not the best way to determine the status of the market) some MFs that I wouldn't touch with a 10 ft pole are now being bought at a premium.On a secular trend, with wealth inequality increasing, capital replacing entry level knowledge related roles, the rise of white collar temporary & contingent employment in corporate america, stagnant wages, and a dysfunctional political system that supports Capital over labor (Citizens United). 

Although now the courts are clogged up and probably dysfunctional so probate may be an impossibility with forever covid. 

The debt treadmill and fractional reserve banking keeps the rather dysfunctional system going.

On the other hand locks on individual doors in a family home is a sign of a extremely dysfunctional family.
