If you do it all above board, you would pay taxes on the rental income received and your daughter would be using post-tax dollars to pay rent which isn't the most efficient.

If you are looking to buy, renovate, and flip/or refi it is imperative that you have a team that is efficient so you can get it done before the loan matures/balloons.

For maximum tax efficiency, consult a CPA to explore combining a partial gift and sale or structuring the transfer to reduce property taxes.
