Since you’re building from the ground up, a hard money loan can be a great option because traditional banks tend to be slow and have stricter requirements for new construction.

Do you have a great credit report you can show them?

Out of state investors can do really well here, but you can also lose a decent chunk of money if you buy wrong.Lots of out of state investors, especially those from California get a little blindsided because everything here is so cheap it all looks like a guaranteed great deal.

The other platforms can sometimes help, but they’re not as reliable.
