Hi BP folks,Does anyone have recommendations for a local architect who 1) works with multifamily and 2) works with rehabs?

Hire a Architect to provide drawings with a lot of details such as existing house elevations and floor plan, proposed elevations and new floor plan, roof, wood deck, addition, etc.

I've been educating myself through books and podcasts on topics like sourcing off-market deals, deal and property analysis, creative financing, and title reviews.My fiancé is an architect that works with GC's and structural engineers to design homes ensuring they are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and safe- which I hope will help me navigate this space as I grow my knowledge.

You need to find architects/engineers in your market that deal with this type of project.In my mind, I would like to know what the per unit cost is of each unit.

Every jurisdiction is different, but in general it's usually a civil engineer and/or architect and/or general contractor who can give you an idea of what is feasible. 

I need a convincing and logical floorplan from my architect.  

The numbers don't pencil out if I have to hire an architect to draw the plan with all details from scratch. 

That person should get an architect that is familiar with S.F.

I'm a California licensed architect and residential projects are our specialty.
