If the seller is getting rid of a lot of furniture I will ask if they are selling the house.

I got lucky that the tenant wanted a house in my neighborhood to keep kids close to their schoolsHouse was listed for 1750, they offered 2250 but I declined , so they offered $3k, ended up renting the house for $3250 ($250 pet rent) per month, for 3 month, open to extension if needed.I met the tenant and did the background check on them, I felt comfortable renting to them THD takes time with approving the property, but they were quick to approve the lease, and they sent me the checks the next day after lease signingMy house is not furnished, and they were ok with that , they actually work with a company that provides furniture for the tenant, and they coordinate the delivery and setup of furniture on the lease start dateOverall I like the experience working with them , but hey today is day #1 (out of a possible 3 months), so I will update this post if anything wrong happens or if I notice any red flags

Especially since later you're going to have the rooms full of furniture, and have to block off time with no bookings.I bought my STR with carpet in the 4 bedrooms and didn't have the budget then to replace them with hard flooring.

Plus trying to figure out and/or deal w/ damage on furniture is a nightmare.

Furniture finders was recommended to us. we are in Delaware beach area.

but for floors they just need to move there furniture for a day, your doing them a favor,  we do floors for tenants with them living there all the time no problem

Research styles and come up with a game plan for paint, stain and furniture. 

MTR is less spend on furniture, less guests, and at that price point for a buy, will likely make more money and have less upkeep and management.

Have they taken up area carpets and sprayed furniture? 

Maybe leave a kayak for guest to use (have them sign waivers in case of accidents).Get some old furniture, some bicycles to loan and make a bed and breakfast!?
