I am a successful commodity trader so a degree is no longer as important as before.However I'm not going to drop out of school, that would be narrow minded.

I know day traders who tried RE and it flopped for them so they stick to stocks.

That's my belief aboutthe Law of Attraction.But let me say this in general.In investing (or in my case -- trading Forex) it is important to notsecond guess yourself, and to forgive yourself for past mistakes.This is important because we all make many, many mistakes.Each one was a decision we made with what -- at the time -- wasthe best information we had.

I would use $8,000 of it to trade Forex.

Others like the idea of flipping stocks like day traders, but this can be costly if you don’t have the experience or the guts to make tough calls!

Probably a lot of them are the same ones that wanted to be day traders 5 years ago.

As far as finding a mentor, I'm not sure I could make them money unless they are interested in investing in the financial markets as well, being that real estate is brand new to me, as opposed to being a trader for 3 years.
