In my humble opinion... after living in Puerto Rico 20+ years and becoming very familiar with the political, economic and cultural situation of the island (after all I AM puertorican), I strongly believe that what the future holds for Puerto Rico is very similar to that of the Dominican Republic.

The HOA is too much did you consider Dominican Republic, Sint Maarten or Aruba you will find better deals.

and it will pay off  10 times.My biggest regret (did a year and a half in the Dominican Republic, then decided to change career, did 3.5 years and came to USA and once here, just because the family was pushing me to finish "I was so close" had to do 2 more years to get a piece of PAPER that I don't even use.
