Homes are affordable and we're seeing homebuyers enter the market with a lot of assistance available from the city.I’ve been investing in Detroit since 2019 while living in California and own 12 doors.

Personally CA scares me. 

Initially, I was focused on multifamily properties, but after doing more research and considering that I will be making Florida my primary residence, I believe that house hacking or short-term rentals (STR) may be the ideal route for me.i still will own my Southern California home; shift it to secondary.  

LTR could get $3200-3400.3-just purchased in August a townhouse in Costa Mesa California 3 miles from the beach walking distance from the back bay great location.

A significant number of my clients are from out of state, including many from Washington State and California.

FL seems to have reigned in HOAs recently, so who knows what they are allowed to do.I know that in CA, an HOA can ban smoking in units because smoking is not a protected class and the HOA has an interest in the safety & health of the building. 

It also gets treated differently in Texas vs CA vs AZ.
