Stock Brokerage firms don't want you to know that you can invest in things other than stock-related investments, but a true SDIRA can really take your real estate investing to new heights.

For example, maybe a house hack where you are offsetting your housing expense allows you to live in the heart of three key quality of life factors (Where you work, where you leisure, and where you shop).

Are there any tried and true/ industry standard sites, forums, etc. where those looking to avoid capital gains look for investment properties?  

I hear what everyone above says about HOA fees and such, and that's true, but ... 

If you are going to buy $75,000 houses in Memphis, you need to go visit them in person.I don't know anything about these companies, but when it sounds way too good to be true, it normally is.
