This includes having a foot long tear in the screen repaired ( was present on walkthrough) and also a few small screw holes in the wall repaired and painted. 

I tell him I'm unhappy with that and he offers to tear it out and redo but at this point, were 12 weeks in and can't afford to wait however much longer it would take to do that.

I bought the property last year without knowing its history, so I attempted to have the tank pumped only to learn the septic company would either have to tear out the driveway over the tank, or charge me $50/foot to dig and hopefully find the clean-out (though it’s not guaranteed they’d find it).

I am currently working on a house on the water  tear down and rebuild  , We have had lots of rain and its also 4 ft above sea level .  

On the flip side, I could tear down the screen porch, which was a poorly-done addition anyway and have the tank removed.The cost of the abandonment is $2500 + soil testing which may be up to $4,000 out of pocket costs for a state-mandated site test.

Louisville is starting to see a nice uptick in infill in what few lots are left in good neighborhoods (Strict preservation city so not many tear downs allowed).

Legal non conforming generally means its use has to be changed  per town ordinance IF  it needs rehab such as tearing down to the studs, total demo, partial demo, new electrical system etc..  

Those pallet guys trash stuff, hitting the building with forklifts all the time and tearing it. 

The title lady was crying and I had tears too.
