Depending on the scope of work and your jurisdiction, you may need drawings stamped by a Licensed Architect as well.

If you just need one beam design, they’ll usually be able to provide you with a stamped letter calling out the new beam size after coming on site to verify the existing conditions.

For example, stamps, paper, toner, and the like can be purchased by the LLC as a business expense. 

If you as an owner (Which most don’t do) complain and they lose the voucher they will likely lose food stamps and Medicare too for a complaint for damage.
