This was against the societal brainwash of never liquidating your retirement fund.  

Now looking at Trulia AND being familiar with the area, crime rate is extremely low and we're convinced we have a community perception problem. 

The rich have been and will continue to get richer, and as long as some benefits (or more importantly their perception) are passed on to the fabled “middle class”, there won’t be any game changing new world order.

Hey pocketeersI have not seen any dissenting voices on the perception that we are late in the real estate cycle.... so what would you consider to be a good strategy for investing now, if you subscribe to "cycle" theory?

This not only applies to BP, but Podcasts, blogs, newspapers, TV...In terms of the post that you mention, I think a lot of people got up in arms about the poster’s perception and attitude toward the facts he experienced and not the actual facts themselves.

What it does do (quite a bit) is crash...for no perceptible reason...Still, I think it's pretty solid and great for use while doing cardio at the gym...

I have come a long way from the perception and want to continue in a focused direction towards my overall goal.

They don't think about fees, commission splits, etc. and the Million Dollar Listing ecosystem only enhances the perception of a near-infinite upside.

@Ozzy Smith  nice discussion.let me give you my perception.. being a RE broker for 43 years now and owning 3 different RE brokerages.. and being a fairly active HML over the course of 30 years as well. 

You're going to need to start raising capital to get these bigger deals done, and the sooner you can start changing people's perceptions about who you are and what you do, the easier that will be.
