I couldn't live at the beach because the commute was too far and I could only go to the gym in the evenings when it's so crowded there are no machines available.

Thanks for all of  the suggestions.I'm going to try "After Fire" before I give up and replace the carpet.I did try the ozone machine and it did help but there still is a residual smoke smell when I open the door.It is a really nice carpet with an wonderful cushy pad so I'll try anything.Jeff

They're more like a machine.

Machines will need replacing causing a lot of capex outlay eating profits.

In the first 4 months I've spent many hours and multiple trips to the house and stores and internet shopping and researching to replace parts on the dryer and the ice machine in the freezer.

She's resorted to intentionally running up utilities and running the washing machine and dryer for one item.

I would first get rid of the existing machines.
