Homes here in Phoenix have jumped up significantly in price due to low interest rates and a shortage of homes on the market.

I sell distressed homes to investors and they are buying them within hours, because of the shortage of inventory. 

This market is very hot right now, we have a rental and housing shortage. 

There are never shortages of people who want to be in good school districts and areas of low crime. 

I personally invest out of state but theres definitely no shortage in this area for groups and investing connections!

the best use of a million dollars to me would be aggressively pursuing underpriced properties in areas with rental shortages.

Before this Corona virus there was a housing shortage, and after this craziness has calmed  there will still be that need for housing and most likely even more of a demand than before.
