I agree the victim mentality that drives the rent strike is what keeps most of these folks down. 

They (the FED) are printing the middle class out of a future, so my mentality right now is to make the most of what they are offering, not to screw over lenders or commit fraud. 

As an example, first we called people mentally retarded and that became a negative so we changed to mentally handicapped and that then became negative so now we switch to handy capable or some other name which will eventually take on the same negative connotation.

With increased panic in the market place, even the most "mentally stringent" investors can be forced to make an "emotional" investment decision.

I think that is the general mentality now and that is the reason they're going up right now.

In my opinion, it is way too conservative for most people and it creates a bit of a scarcity mentality.

Would anyone be kind enough to refer me to an investor-friendly mortgage broker that is responsive, likes to move things quickly, understands how real estate investment works, and is versatile in offering loan options? 

This is more than is practical for most of us, but you get the mentality.
