Plus you've got more properties, and they want to keep you as a customer.There are companies in my area that will install it for $495 w/ a 5 yr. guarantee, and I've been in homes where they're on their 4th or more in less than 4 yrs.

I live in San Jose, 35 yrs old, always loved real estate, married with 2 kids, and bought a home 2 years ago that now has a large amount of equity in it.

It's been vacant for 12 yrs.

I do think that some areas will have a recession or correction from fast rising prices in last 6 yrs, but doubt that we will have a nationwide crash

Lived there for 4 yrs and flooding can be an issue sometimes.

in the 2 yrs she owned it, she evicted 3 professional tenant. and lost rents.

Go for a middle of the road window and do that first.As someone that has been a female for almost 50 yrs I can tell you that your biggest variable will be how much your wife wants the house.
