@Rafael Floresta this is not correct all states have the same legislative wording pretty much which basically says exceeds proceeds go to the owner or any lien holders creditors and so forth after a while it is to be held by state and if it doesn't go through the owners and no picked up and such time the limitations of statues state that it most likely will reverse back to them and municipality or the state.

I don't landlord in San Francisco but currently my city's supervisors are working on legislation that would require landlords to pay tenants the difference between their long-held rent control rate and the market rent of the same apartment times 24 months in the event that the landlord chooses to go out of business and stop renting the the units in his building.Does that sound insane?

The older units contain R-22 & I believe it's now legislated out of production.The last charge I did cost me $35/LB.The newer refrigerate is R-143a & the last (approx1 lb) charge I did cost about $14.
