These zones claim to be for "stimulating growth in depressed areas" and many of these areas do indeed fit that category, but areas of Bucktown, Avondale, North Center, Roscoe Village and Ravenswood all qualify so don't dismiss your property because you feel you are in an A or B area.

Everyone thinks a housing crash accompanies recessions, but....fun fact....of the last 5 recessions (including the Great Depression), only 1 of them had a housing crash associated with it, and that was the 2008 crash because the entire thing was due to the mortgage crisis.

Good thing, with the Pandemic, my wife is nervous about doing an eviction, finding new tenants.I acquired my conservative investment style from my dad, who grew up during the great depression, 1930's, where grandpa lost most of his fortune, the major one when the bank he did business with closed up, and back then, no FDIC or insurance.
