There's no way anyone in their right mind would pick such a dark and treacherous path for financing options.

I prefer getting there 20 minutes early to set the thermostat to a comfortable temp, turn all the lights on, pick up any trash in the yard, sweep the front step, kill the spider on the counter, fix the running toilet, take care of any strange odors, ask the neighbor to stop smoking weed/shut their dogs/kids up/ stop screaming at each other, etc. 

When working with lead I used proper equipment, HEPA filters with a properly fitted half-face mask, and used excellent hygiene (washing/showering, not eating, not smoking, careful handling and so on) and still became lead poisoned. 

To play devil's advocate, this applicant is not a criminal because she has never been convicted of a crime ("innocent until proven guilty").But where there's smoke, is there fire?
