Im not that smart but got an email from on accounting firm ( i make no representation on this but sharing as a point of view and leaving out the name  )The IRS announced on 12/27/17 that prepaid 2018 property taxes will not be deductible in 2017 if they have not been assessed. https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-advisory-prepaid-real-property-taxes-may-be-deductible-in-2017-if-assessed-and-paid-in-2017The IRS announcement was in response to recent reports advising individuals to make a prepayment of 2018 property taxes on the national evening news, 12/27/17 cover of the wall street journal as well as the governor of New York bringing in additional employees to accept prepayments.

The long and short of it is this was poor journalism.

I started mine because I wanted a journal of what was going on and an easy place to point people who ask questions there.

Properties have been performing, as expected, for the past few months, but I'll probably keep a running journal on BP somewhere about my overall experience.In terms of customer service, though, it has been excellent.  

The service creates a journal entry with all income from the statement entered as credit, all expenses are entered as debit, and “due from PM” entered as debit to reconcile PM direct deposit.

My 2024 goals are below:Mind- Consistent 10:30pm-6:30am sleep schedule (No screens after 10pm)- Meditate and journal 4x/week- Read 4x/week Body- 2x2x2/week: Cardio | Weightlifting | Flexibility/mobility- Knock out the Murph Challenge once a month (start with mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push ups, 300 squats, finish with mile run)- Get a full panel blood and gut health testBusiness- Net income exceeds $10,000 per month, which comes from my short term rental management/cohosting business, Host Del Casa- Host Del Casa helps 10+ good people/partners 2-5x returns with short term rentals - Purchase another investment property

I then carry that pad with me in my truck and use it as a running journal of what I need, what I'm doing, and what needs done. 

But I figured if I'm going to journal my (mis)adventure while doing this, I might as well let this community know how it goes.
