In davidson county most people book an STR to be close to downtown or at least close to somewhere cool as a secondary priority (like 5 points or 12 south for example).If you have an STR in white house it's going to need to make up for location.

@Nate Williams   100k in equity is not typically enough to do much damage with as you typically have to (and want to) keep at least 20% equity in the house.

You'd want to work with the REIT sponsor and your CPA to understand the expected timeline for this a bit more.  

Luckily 2 got back to us and 1 of them was ready to sell but emotionally was struggling to make the commitment.
