I am new to this and here is my delema.My mum passed away and had a house in Australia.  

It truly seems like a fantasy but I believe with hard work and dedication I can make it happen, I just need to educate myself about how to create a positive cashflow through real estate investing, that's why I have come here.I know it probably says I live in Riverdale Michigan, but infact I live in Australia, as there was no option for Australian cities I had to put something else. 

As this will end up being our first investment, we need to buy at a bargain.I am in Australia on business at the moment but I would like to meet up when I get back in two weeks.How did the REI meeting go?

So many friends that I speak to when I go back to Australia say they wish they could do what I did.

I personally looked after our biggest clients which include the majority of the big national house builders and councils.I am currently working my way to Australia and am writing this from my hotel room in Laos.

I agree that people that want change in Dodd Frank should state their case with reason and facts.Down payments for Home ownership in Canada is 10 percent or more, UK, New Zealand and Australia are all 10 per cent or more.I wish there were some kind of national underwriting supervised by the government the someone's ability to repay could be quantified, there are 800 pages and Dodd Frank just for the ability to repay rules.And seller financing could be done by homeowners without these Draconian penalties  of -36 months of payments plus -down payment plus lawyers fees plus -court costswhich is intimidating any home seller from looking up so if financing, including rrap estate agents.Seller carry backs with reasonable underwriting and no Draconian penalties should be allowed as an exception to Dodd Frank.
