If I had to go back to 1996 when I started, I would do the same thing - get a small multifamily and live in one of the units.One thing I'd change is that I'd operate on of the units as a short-term rental/corporate rental.The technology wasn't around then, but it sure is available now.

On refinance situations this is much more difficulty to prove value since there is a willing buyer to prove the transaction value.

(I've only just become aware of his clout/non-clout around the corridors of power).It came to my attention that he believes that January 1, 2018 is going to be the day that the next phase of their plan will be put into motion, and (from what I've read) he reckons there's nothing the President can do to stop Countries from diversifying away from the US dollar (into Distributed Ledger Technology).What say then the USA about their strategy of "quantitative easing", if that happens?

With a 100% FREE & CLEAR property -  should have no difficulties getting approved - presuming you have current income to make payments.Don't get bogged down in Analysis Paralysis - but there are some positive changes coming in Texas HELOC (Proposition 2 on Texas Ballot - voting tomorrow) should give you ability to borrow more of your equity.

I'm hesitant to subscribe until I can get some recommendations.What would you recommend for new Agents to read/subscribe to keep abreast of current news, changes in laws, new strategies (such as using Instagram), new technologies, etc?
