Or they think the NAR and MLS run the industry, and their 'brokerage' (and by extension, they...) are to "report all earnings," and somehow a PROSPECT (vs. a CLIENT) is somehow "brokerage property."

It's simply a designation from NAR that you joined and agree to their ethics code and pay a fee each year.Except for political lobbying of issues on capitol hill that affects our industry I haven't seen value in NAR for about a decade.Their magazine went from quality articles a decade ago to where most of the publication was nothing but paid ad after ad.

I read an article in Det News in October and they were interviewing landlords who admit to it because they can't get their taxes reduced, so they buy them back at auction.

But, the NAR (National Association of Realtors) says that the average flip grosses $67,000 with a net of $15,000 after supplies, carrying costs, labor and closing costs and takes 6 months from finding a property to getting cash out and is the highest taxed for real estate.

Just like Congress, NAR "leaders" don't represent the interests of the people they claim to represent - they represent the big money interests, in this case Zillow.
