I live in Los Angeles, where property is expensive to rehab and rent unless you have a lot of money to lay out. 

By my count, to do it right (if I understand the layout of your building) you would need a larger one on the first floor, one on the third floor, and at least 2 (3 is better- one per bedroom) on the second floor, total of 4-5, or at least $10k-15k.

Good layout for a 60 year old home, and has serious potential. 

I’ve heard people say to dissect the processes and lay out a road map for things you do but feeling like I have not seen examples or references to some of these systems.

They were built as such so the rooms should have a better aesthetic as a whole or layout, correct?

Adding another kitchen in the same area would not complement the current lay out/design.
