Alternatively, you can learn how to do everything yourself so that you can address issues as they come up.On your existing problem: you may be able to provide some temporary relief for lighting and small outlet issues with a heavy-duty industrial/outdoor rated extension cord routed to a working receptacle on a circuit that's not already loaded down.

But in the beginning, always have everything in writing, in extensive detail and thoroughly discussed.

@Ryan Saldanha I hope you were still able to turn a profit on your two deals. 212 hasn't been too bad to me, but I haven't had to deal too extensively with them. 

I'm pretty sure that even though the documents says it ends in 2012, by continuing to accept payments, both parties have (by their actions) agreed to an extension...with no end....or......For some reason, the agreement stated the Option to Buy happened AFTER 5 years, with no apparent time limit. 

Are there sites other than AirBnB and VRBO that you would recommend that have a more extensive screening process?
