My two cents on the traffic comments - Unfortunately the problems extend to the far northwest suburbs as well (although they have improved since the I-90 expansion has been completed).  

As a younger person, for example, one might be more inclined to focus on the long-term game and holding assets or land for extended periods of time.Either way, take some time to listen to the bigger pockets podcast and read through the forums, and see what jumps out at you and piques your interest.

For example, there has been a plan in place for years now to incorporate a high-speed rail line that extends from Glassboro (South Jersey) to Gloucester City/Camden area and this would give a more direct line to connect with Philadelphia.

I'd only pay the monthly landlord insurance (roughly $120) and snow/grass.I don't have the funds to extend an all cash offer but am contemplating working with a hard money lender.

Will they extend or renew? 

The jobs are gunna come from the Seaport area,  with the extended Silver line 3 it opens the door for transportation into Seaport from part of Everett/Chelsea.

Ordered similar coloured siding and stained wood shakes to install, instead of extending the roof and adding timbers on the front deck.  

They weren't in a position to refinance at then end of 5 years so I kept extending the term and here we are 15 years later still collecting.

Was there an extended illness?

All I could do was to let the buyer know that the repair is done as per my plumber and than buyer's responsibility is to check everything after that and if they had found issues they could have extended or terminated the contract.
