We declined.I had a couple that made over 6K a month, but unverified income. both had two jobs and we approved them. but then we found out he had a 3rd offense domestic dispute or whatever it's called. when we inquired about it, he said "i will not provide any more info, backing out".2 weeks ago we received an application from an applicant that makes $2600 (rent is 995) and has $11k in judgements against her. naturally, we declined.Craigslist has produced very, very, very little response. maybe 1 call per week.Trulia has produced a few people inquiring, but feel liks it's a gimmick since they just click on "contact me" and it fires an email to us.

Additionally, we stipulate in our leases that two or more 'domestic disturbance' calls that involve the police coming to the unit are grounds for eviction. 

My tenants, an unmarried couple, had a domestic violence issue and the court says the guy gets to stay in the apartment.

And also you'll want to make sure you've got a handle in your state specific reporting requirements both for domestic (within the state the property is located) and foreign (LLC in a state not where the property is located) LLCs.

What private ownership of these timberland does is it allows for export... you cannot export State or Federal timber. so the major export hub is Longview WA on the Columbia river and good export will sell for 20 to 30% more than domestic logs...
