I’m new to investing so unfortunately can’t provide much advice on the area but have been out there a number of times over the last couple of years to visit friends and like you, really love the area.

It also probably just a matter of time before insurance companies require this, especially on rentals, even if the law doesn't.Personally, I say get ahead to the law on these and install them now.

It's great that you're thinking ahead on how to optimize your systems. 

Even went ahead and tried to call the contact number on their site and got a voice mail. 

Whether it was making an offer, scheduling a home inspection, or just visiting the property again, taking one step at a time made the whole process feel less overwhelming.

Just as a heads up as not sure which timeframe of BP podcasts, but before covid you could do a BRRRR and get all your money back out of the deal, today that is typically not the case and you will still have money in the deal - so just wanted to mention that.Lastly, you are way ahead of me and many others already as I cannot swing a hammer :)

I just had one of these I made a title claim and the title company paid me off.if your stupid enough to buy without title insurance your in trouble.also if you don't know any better and don't pay for a policy that also covers the wholesale fee your going to be out of luck when you make your claim . along with any rehab you have done.Now for me I was able to make the claim and got paid AND I filed a quiet title action and won that so now I own the property .. the fraudster is being chased by the title company and well it took 18 months but it looks like we might come out ahead..

As a guest, it is so much easier for them to be able to go ahead and book in the moment and not need to wait for the host approval.

Proper screening, quarterly property visits, proper background checks, etc...
