You have built your net with holes that only capture the fish that are big and profitable enough.

I think it's a great idea, especially if there is a marina on the lake that has a gas pump.. but if not still not much of a concern as long as you provide a extra gas tank for them to get gas.My son rented a pontoon last summer when we were between boats and was like $150 for the day..Get a good lift, and have lots of life jackets, and a bunch of fishing poles. 

If you are not employing these strategies your fishing pole will continue to go without a nibble.  

That being said, I by no means want to troll on the site and fish for business.

Brian, With your background, it might be a more productive conversation here to back into what might be attractive to you rather than trying to fish.

I'm looking at a property that's close to a lake,(fishing, skiing, swimming) but not on it.

Could a "safe" certificate slip thru the cracks and not be bid on....sure, but the odds are extremely low....not a wise pool to fishing in.

For example in Atlanta they are doing the belt line project and also have assistance from the feds for the neighborhood stabilization program.In Atlanta one block can be a war zone and 1/4 mile down can be the Coke museum and the Fish Aquarium.
