I lost both my parents last year which was horrific because they were my universe! 

Sometimes I'll invest in "virutal staging" (just disclose in the MLS that it's virtual).Price, Location, and Condition are the 3 variables that affect how quickly a house will sell.

This is much different than a real estate transaction with a traditional bank where you have virtually no power to change the terms (e.g. interest rate, term, amount of financing, etc.).

@Brandon Carlson 63117 (Richmond Heights) , 63130 (university city which is close to Washington Univ) and 63110 (tower grove, Shaw, dogtown) are all very good areas.

Usually there is not a universally true right and wrong investment decision that applies the same to every individual.
