Around the same time, I began to discover self improvement books and of course happened upon Rich Dad.I have been steadily researching for all that time since, and trying to improve my station  and job expertise (pipeline inspection) to enable me to get real estate. 

Which base will you be stationed on?

I am new to bigger pockets and currently active duty Air Force stationed out in Kansas. 

I'm on Log Hill too, in Log Hill Village down past the Fire Station.

If you or someone you know is interested please do not hesitate to reach out to me.Some information:-Cape cod style house-Located near major highways/road such as 287, Rt 22 & Rt 28-There are about 5 train stations within a 7 mile radius, including 2 within a 2 mile radius-located about 15-20 minutes away from Rutgers University- New Brunswick-also located near Raritan Valley and Middlesex CC-There is a partially finished basement where I will be residing-washer/dryer included-rent will be $675/person-estimated utilities are $60-70/person which will include the following:---electric/gas = 40---water = 5---sewage = 10---trash = 5---internet = 10

I am currently active duty military and looking to invest in my home state of OK while I am stationed here in MD.  

My current plan is to continue saving money till the point my wife is stationed and find a multi-family home in the area to house hack, but I will be in southern Illinois for the next 6 months to a year curious if I should possibly get a rental now and take action or just want would be the best move for success starting out in real estate investing any advice is great appreciated and thank you!

I'm stationed at Fort Campbell Kentucky currently but am not planning on staying in the area even though it is a great spot for real estate investing.My plan is to go to college and invest in an owner occupied investment property(looking at duplex's or single family's depending on what type of loan I'm qualified for).

Since l, I was able to prove I I am station out Waco, I was able to use it as a primary and my home as a secondary.

Like you, I was also stationed in a remote area.
