There is a property for sale that has solar panels and I’m trying to analyze at what price point would this or another property be worth house hacking?

Often the older ones have paneled walls and they can be harder maintain.Compare the cost and the rent that they will generate and how easy you will be able to rent to the type of renter you want.  

When looking I found a house that looks somewhat promising, but currently has solar on the roof that the seller is renting and the buyer would have to assume.

There would be no impact to other units.Now, I'm no electrician, but here's one way I could see a problem: 8 condos share 400 amps of service, but each has a panel with "100 amps."
