It is hard to trust someone you have no relationship with to be responsible to get the job done, done right and not be over-charged - there are times when you don't mind paying a premium for a job well done.About 10 years I did a 1031 tax deferred exchange into a house on Amelia Island, (outside of Jacksonville), I am in Baltimore, we do have a person we trust to do our work - since we only get to our home compound a few times a year.So tell us............. how's real estate investing in Miami, Florida?

Then I wonder what happens to the investor who lost 10 homes.. what happens to him and then he or she gets sued.this has all sorts of very serious repercussions short of just should I let a tenant slide one week because of the largest natural disaster to ever hit the US>> I think it boils down to investors with money and reserves probably will work with folks.. investors who are mortgaged to the hilt this could be something that really hurts them and they will have no choice but to be hard @$$ non caring landlords regardless of cirucumstances.. and then you just have the plane old greedy could give a crap landlords. sorry for your troubles you owe money..

I am hoping to find an inexpensive room to rent in a safe neighborhood (I'm used to the Boulder Bubble) but within 10 miles of the Oakland airport ( I'll be commuting by bike most days to the office on Bay Farm Island).
